Event Overview
The Salted Vines Wine Run 5k is a chip-timed event held at Salted Vines Vineyard & Winery in Frankford, Delaware. The course is a two-lap, cross-country style route through the 26-acre winery property. The terrain includes some uneven footing.
Participation Details
The event is open to participants aged 1-99, though wine service requires participants to be 21 or older with valid identification. Both runners and walkers are welcome. Leashed dogs are permitted on the course but not inside the winery building. The use of strollers is allowed but not recommended due to the uneven ground.
Registration & Swag
Registration includes a race bib, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a collapsible wine glass, a t-shirt, online results, and a pour of wine. Age group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in ten-year age categories. Packet pickup is on race day only, starting one hour before the event.
Virtual Option
A virtual participation option is available. Participants who choose this option can have their race packet shipped to them for an additional fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
