Saltaire - Rock up n' Run
Saltaire - Rock up n' Run is a summer evening running event held as part of a pop-up series. The event takes place next to the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, situated near Salts Mill in Saltaire, Shipley. Participants can choose between two race distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
The event accommodates both pre-registered runners and those who prefer to register on the day of the race. Registration takes place on-site starting in the early evening. All participants receive a jumble medal upon completion of their run. The event also provides refreshments for all runners, including hot food and a choice of beer or a soft drink.
The start and finish area is located near the canal, with Saltaire train station just a one-minute walk away. For those traveling by car, council parking is available in the centre of Saltaire, and free parking can be found on surrounding streets, subject to local parking restrictions.
