LDWA - Marsden Moors and Marathon

The Marsden Moors and Marathon is a challenging outdoor event held near Huddersfield in the scenic Colne Valley. Participants can choose from three circular routes of 26.2, 23, or 18 miles, with the full marathon route newly incorporated. The course features moorland terrain, reservoirs, and valley paths, starting and finishing at Marsden Parochial Hall by St.

Bartholomew’s Church. The event offers a friendly atmosphere with refreshments at checkpoints, a meal at the finish, and a certificate. Entrants must be prepared for isolated moorland conditions and bring suitable equipment.
