LewisGale Salem Half Marathon, 8K and Kids Fun Run - Salem, VA
The LewisGale Salem event takes place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Salem Farmers Market, 3 E. Main St., Salem, VA 24153. The event program includes in-person and virtual options and several distances for adults and children.

- G&H Contracting Kids Fun Run : 2 miles

Registration fees and age limits are listed for each event. The LewisGale Salem Half Marathon is shown at $80 and is open to ages 12 to 120. The Virginia's Blue Ridge 8K is shown at $55. Kids Fun Run entries are shown at $20 and are open to ages 4 to 12. Virtual event registration is available with separate pricing and registration deadlines. Prices for in-person events increase after May 31, 2026, and certain kids event fees increase after October 6, 2026. Virtual registrations close October 9, 2026.
Races start and finish at the Salem Farmers Market and follow a course that goes through neighborhood streets, Roanoke College, and the downtown business district. The organizers partner with Blue Ridge Racing for race management. Completing this half marathon can contribute to the Virginia's Blue Ridge Triple Crown when combined with other specified regional races.
