Event overview
The LewisGale Salem Half Marathon, 8K and Kids Fun Run takes place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, in Salem, Virginia. The races start and finish at the Salem Farmers Market and follow a course through local neighborhoods, Roanoke College, and the downtown business district. The event is produced in partnership with Blue Ridge Racing. Completing this race plus the Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Marathon (full or half) and the Star City Half Marathon in the same year qualifies a runner for the Virginia's Blue Ridge Triple Crown medal. Age eligibility for the half marathon is 12 to 120; the kids runs are open to ages 4 to 12. Some entry fees increase after October 7, 2025; virtual race registration ends October 10, 2025.
