LewisGale Salem Half Marathon, 8K, and Kids Fun Run
The event is a multi-race road running program held in Salem, Virginia on October 10, 2026. Races start and finish at the Salem Farmers Market in downtown Salem and the courses pass through local neighborhoods, Roanoke College, and the downtown business district.
The event set includes in-person and virtual options and is produced in partnership with Blue Ridge Racing, a regional road race management organization. Multiple race formats are offered within the same event day:

Completing the Salem Half Marathon together with the Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Full or Half Marathon and the Star City Half Marathon in the same year makes a participant eligible for the Triple Crown medal.
