Salem Half Marathon

The LewisGale Salem Half Marathon, 8K and Kids Fun Run, held in Salem, Virginia, is a multi-race weekend organized in partnership with Blue Ridge Racing. The events range from the half marathon to the Virginia's Blue Ridge 8K and kid-friendly runs (1-mile and 2-mile). The races start and finish at the Salem Farmers Market in downtown Salem, with a scenic course that winds through residential streets, Roanoke College campus, and the city’s downtown business district.

Salem is known as Virginia's Championship City. A Triple Crown medal honors runners who complete Blue Ridge races in the same year; 10th anniversary hoodies are available. Virtual options are offered as well. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
