Event overview
The Salcombe Brewery Co Sprint Triathlon is scheduled for Sunday 28th September 2025 at North Sands, Salcombe TQ8 8LD. It is an open water, road and trail event that combines a bay swim, a road cycle and a trail run. If sea conditions are unsafe on the day, the event will revert to a duathlon. Non-British Triathlon Federation members must purchase a Race Pass to take part; the Race Pass provides a day membership, a race licence and public liability insurance for the event.

The swim starts from North Sands and takes place in the bay. The bike course includes numerous undulations, steep sharp inclines, rolling downhills toward the sea, passes Inner and Outer Hope, and a steep climb up to Malborough, finishing along an escarpment into North Sands with several switchbacks. The run is a trail route into the valley behind North Sands, with a gentle ascent to Lower Collaton and a winding track back to North Sands.
Entry fee is £65. Entry on the day is allowed if the event is not sold out. The event centre provides facilities, route marking, medical support, a feed stop, a pick-up wagon, rider public liability insurance, event photography, a medal, and prizes for first and second placed male and female finishers. Parking is available at North Sands Car Park and Sand Hills Road. The organiser will donate 5% of event revenue to the Salcombe RNLI charity fund; participants are encouraged to raise £50 each.
