Salcombe Brewery Co Sprint Triathlon
The Salcombe Brewery Sprint Triathlon takes place from North Sands in Salcombe on 19th September 2027. The event combines open water swimming, a road cycle and a trail run, with the event headquarters at North Sands, Salcombe TQ8 8LD.

- 700m swim
- 17.5km cycle
- 3km trail run
The swim starts on North Sands beach in a sheltered cove near the estuary mouth and uses large floating buoys. The cycle route is ridden anticlockwise, covers 17.5km with about 200m of ascent, and passes through Batson, Marlborough and East Soar before returning toward Salcombe. The run route is clockwise, approximately 3km with about 90m of ascent, following a valley track past Hangar Mill and ascending to Lower Collaton before returning to North Sands.
If sea conditions are judged unsafe the event will revert to a duathlon format. Non British Triathlon members must purchase a Race Pass to take part; the Race Pass provides a race licence and public liability cover for the day of the event.
Event facilities include route marking, medical support, a feed stop, a pick-up wagon, event photography and a finisher medal. The organiser will donate 5% of event revenue to the Salcombe RNLI charity fund. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers with specific rewards for each placing.
