Salcombe Brewery Co Sprint Triathlon
The Salcombe Brewery Co Sprint Triathlon is an open water, road and trail event based at North Sands, Salcombe TQ8 8LD. The course visits the local villages of Salcombe, Hope and Galmpton and combines a bay swim, a rolling bike route and a short trail run.

The swim starts in the bay at North Sands. The bike course includes numerous undulations through South Hams countryside with steep inclines and rolling descents, a notable climb up to Malborough and a finishing section along the escarpment to North Sands with a few switchbacks. The run follows a trail into the valley behind North Sands with a gentle ascent to Lower Collaton and a winding track back to North Sands.
The event includes event centre facilities, a Salcombe Sprint Triathlon medal, medical support, full route marking, rider public liability insurance, a feed stop, event photography and prizes for first and second placed male and female competitors. Entry is available on the day if the event is not sold out and the published entry fee is £65.
If sea conditions are unsafe on the day the event will revert to a duathlon. Non British Triathlon Federation members must purchase a Race Pass to participate in a British Triathlon permitted event.
The event supports the RNLI. Organisers will donate 5% of event revenue to the Salcombe RNLI charity fund and participants are encouraged to raise £25 each. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
