Something Wild Festival - Hope Cove, Devon
Something Wild Festival is a multi-day outdoor event centered on trail running and open-water activities on the South West Coast Path and nearby estuaries. The 2026 edition uses new routes that take in the Avon and Salcombe estuaries and coastal sections around Hope Cove.
The festival site is a farm field beside the sea overlooking Hope Cove, with close access to swimming spots at Hope Cove, East Soar and Bantham Bay. A campsite for up to 100 tents and space for camper vans serves as the fulcrum for the event routes. The site has a separated camp village and festival village, extra compost toilet facilities, warm showers and two venues for speakers and evening music. A cafe and bar will operate on site offering locally brewed beer, non-alcoholic drinks and a range of other beverages.
Race and activity highlights include a family-friendly guided run, a night run, a variety of trail races and organised sea swims and swim runs. Friday and Saturday evenings feature a festival fire and live music, with communal meal options on some evenings. Additional on-site activities comprise a forest school for children, speakers, yoga, massage and movement sessions, kids entertainment and local food stalls.
