Salado Band Mustache Dash 5K

The Salado Band Mustache Dash is a chip-timed 5K road race in Salado, Texas. The course runs through the Mill Creek neighborhood and starts and finishes at the Salado Civic Center, located at 601 North Main, Salado, TX 76571.

The event is part of the Cen-Tex Race Series and supports the Salado Eagle Band. There is pre-registrant check-in, bib pickup, and t-shirt distribution on race morning. Awards follow the race.

Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and to the top three in each age group (11&U, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34 … 70+). No duplicate awards are distributed.

Open registration begins January 13, 2026 and closes November 14, 2026. The standard registration fee is $30. Race-day registration is available for $35 and accepts credit cards only. T-shirts are guaranteed for entries received by October 30, 2026; very limited quantities are available on race day after that date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
