Event Overview
The inaugural SAK Strong 5K Run/Walk takes place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Lt. Ross Park (CyTenny) in West Peabody, Massachusetts. The event is held in memory of Chris Sakelakos. All proceeds will be allocated to the SAK Strong Foundation.
Events and Course
The event offers three activities:
- A 5K run/walk.
- A 1 Mile walk.
- A Youth Fun Run for participants aged 12 and under.
Both the 5K and 1-mile courses are out-and-back routes. They use a mix of road and hard-packed trail along the Peabody Independence Greenway. The start and finish are shared at Lt. Ross Park. The 5K course has one water opportunity.
