Saints Santa Run in Oklahoma City
The Saints Santa Run is a winter-themed athletic event held in the Midtown area of downtown Oklahoma City. The event is centered on the SSM Health – St. Anthony Hospital campus and welcomes participants of all ages, including pets. The gathering serves as a festive activity during the holiday season, encouraging movement and community interaction.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5K Walk/Run (3.2 miles)
- 1-Mile Fun Run
- Kids' Dash (for children ages 8 and under)
Registered runners in the 5K and 1-mile events receive a commemorative t-shirt and a finisher medal. While the Kids' Dash is free and requires no registration, the other distances involve a registration fee. The event features a competitive aspect with prizes awarded to the fastest overall male, female, and non-binary runners.
Beyond the races, the venue hosts a variety of activities at the start and finish line. These include face painting, a magician, and holiday music. Food and beverages are available for purchase from onsite vendors such as Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, and the Metro Minis food truck, while registered participants have access to complimentary snacks. A costume contest is a central feature of the day, with categories for the best Santa, most festive outfit, and most festive pet, offering cash prizes for winners.
