Saint Dominic 5K
The Saint Dominic 5K is presented by St. Mark Catholic Church and takes place at St. Dominic Chapel, 427 Cash Street, Cornelia, GA 30531. The course runs through downtown Cornelia and both starts and finishes at St. Dominic Chapel.
Participants receive an official race t-shirt and professional race timing. Awards are presented to the first, second, and third place male and female finishers in five-year age divisions, beginning with the 10–14 category and continuing upward through older age groups.
Registrations open on June 10, 2026 and close on August 7, 2026. Runners must register by July 25, 2026 to be guaranteed a race shirt. Registrations will close prior to race day and same-day registration is not available.
Packet pick-up is scheduled at St. Dominic Chapel on Friday, August 7, and limited race day packet pick-up is available at St. Dominic Chapel the morning of the event.
Proceeds from the event will benefit renovations at St. Dominic Chapel, a mission of St. Mark Catholic Church, to support the chapel's use for worship, faith formation, and community outreach. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
