Located on a peninsula extending into Lake Hartwell, the event provides a looped course through wooded areas and along the lakeshore. The terrain consists of approximately 80% trail, with additional sections of gravel, pavement, and sand.
Participants can choose from several distances:
- 100 Miles (32-hour limit over 15 loops)
- 26.2 Miles (4 loops)

- 10 km (1 loop)
Each 6.8-mile loop features approximately 380 feet of elevation gain. The route winds through pine forests and past campsites, offering wide runnable surfaces with lightly rolling hills.
