About the race
The TALI Sadlers Creek Off-Road Duathlon is a multi-leg event held at Sadlers Creek Park in Anderson, SC. The race uses the park trail system and a grassy field near the main park office for the transition area; each leg of the duathlon begins and ends at this transition area and the overall finish is near the park office.
The course is described as mostly wide single track. The standard adult format uses a 5k trail run that winds toward the boat ramp, a 10 mile bike leg that follows trails along the water's edge and through woods toward the camping area and Persimmon Beach with several loops, and a 2.5k trail run back toward the boat ramp. Riders may use mountain bikes or gravel bikes; there are several whoop whoops on the course.
Event entries cover park admission for the athlete. The organizer has selected New Foundations Home for Children in Anderson, SC as the event charity and provides a donation option on the event donation page.
