About the race
The TALI Sadlers Creek Off Road Duathlon takes place at Sadlers Creek Park near Anderson, SC (940 Sadlers Creek Rd). The event offers multiple race categories including youth, high school, adult and relay entries, each with a combined trail run and off road bike course.
The duathlon uses a grassy field near the main park office as the transition area. The run-bike-run format for the main course includes a first leg of 5 km on single-track trails toward the boat ramp, a bike leg that follows trails along the water's edge and through wooded loops toward the camping area and Persimmon Beach, and a final 2.5 km trail run that finishes near the park office. Trails at Sadlers Creek are mostly wide single track and suit either a mountain bike or a gravel bike; there are several short, bumpy sections noted on course.
Event entries and fees differ by category. The event fee covers athlete park admission. The organizers have named New Foundations Home for Children in Anderson, SC as the event charity; donations are accepted on the event donation page.
