About the race
Saddleback Oktoberfest 5k takes place on October 3, 2026, at Saddleback in Rangeley, Maine. The event is the sixth edition and follows an alpine route that climbs and then returns to the Saddleback Base Lodge.
The course gains roughly 1200 feet of elevation and offers views of the Rangeley Lakes Region during peak fall foliage. The distance is 5 km.
All participants receive a commemorative logo item. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers. Registration is $35 and includes admission into Saddleback’s Oktoberfest after the race plus a scenic lift ticket for use following the run. Registration opens August 15, 2026 and closes October 2, 2026.
