Stars & Stripes 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run : Rangeley, Maine
The Stars & Stripes event on July 4, 2027 in Rangeley, Maine includes a 5K run/walk and a short kids fun run. The 5K follows paved and gravel roads through the town and downtown area, offering scenic views of the surrounding wilderness and the lake. Leashed pets are welcome on the route. Fun run participants do not receive event shirts; some 5K registrants receive a Stars & Stripes T-shirt if they register by an early deadline. Children in the fun run will receive a festive goody bag and an ice cream cone from Frosty or The Farmers Daughter. Awards will be presented to the first adult female and male 5K finishers and to the first place girl and boy under 18. The start and finish are in Rangeley with lake views.
