Stars & Stripes 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run
The Stars & Stripes event in Rangeley, Maine includes a paved 5K Run/Walk and a free Kids Fun Run. The course passes through downtown Rangeley and begins and ends with a view of the lake at the Rangeley Health and Wellness Pavilion on Dallas Hill Rd.
The route is described as scenic and suitable for a range of ages and fitness levels. Leashed pets are allowed and the course is stroller friendly. Organizers note awards for the first adult female and male 5K finishers and for the first place girl and boy under 18.
Additional participant details recorded by the organizer include a Stars & Stripes T-shirt for 5K registrants who registered before June 10, 2025. Family Fun Run registrations do not include a T-shirt; children in the Kids Fun Run receive a festive goody bag and an ice cream cone from the Frosty or The Farmers Daughter.
