Sugarloaf Marathon and 15K
The Sugarloaf Marathon and 15K takes place in Carrabassett Valley, Maine. This annual running event scheduled for May 17, 2026, offers participants two distinct distance options:
- Sugarloaf Marathon: 26.2 miles
- Sugarloaf 15K: 15 km
The marathon has a designated cut-off time of 6 hours and 30 minutes. Registration for both distances opens in October 2025 and is available to the public until April 5, 2026. Entry fees utilize a tiered pricing structure where costs increase after a specific number of runners have registered for each distance.
Participants can collect their race bibs on the day before the event between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM in the Maple Room. Alternatively, bib pick-up is provided at the start locations on the morning of the races. Runners are expected to collect their bibs at least 30 minutes before their respective start times.
Race adjustments, such as transferring a registration to another person or updating personal information, may be managed through the registration profile until the April deadline. The event does not permit refunds or deferrals. An optional pasta dinner is available for participants, with meal tickets sold both in advance and at the door during the event weekend.
