Sacha's Sashay
Sacha's Sashay is the 16th annual walk/run held in Mackinaw, Illinois, intended to raise money for the community where Sacha was raised. The event takes place at Mackinaw Village Hall and the course starts and finishes in front of the Mackinaw Municipal Building.
Distances offered:
- 5K run
- 1.5 mile walk (untimed)
Packet pickup is scheduled on the day before the event at Veteran's Park and on the morning of the event at Veteran's Park. Race shirts are distributed after the event at a scheduled pickup date; a late shirt pickup is available for registrations after a specified date.
Registration fees include mandatory charges. A discounted registration rate is applied automatically for participants aged 12 and under. Timing and scoring are provided by ShaZam Racing, with live results available.
Awards are announced for the top male and top female overall, plus age-group awards by net time for the top three males and top three females in these groups: 12 & under, 13-17, 18-49, and 50 & over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
