RYR Endurance Race Weekend
RYR Endurance Race Weekend takes place in Owensboro, KY, with the start and finish at Horse Fork Creek Park. The courses run on an asphalt greenway that provides shade and a couple of small lake views. Each event uses a multi-loop layout that makes the routes spectator friendly and easy to navigate. Courses are flat.
Race offerings include:
- 50K
- Marathon (26.2 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- Combined option: 5K and 10K (9.3 miles total)
Both marathon courses are USATF certified and are Boston qualifier courses. The weekend features two marathon races on the same certified course; the Saturday marathon runs concurrently with other events while the Sunday competitive marathon is held without other races on the course and has limited registration. A 50K, half marathon, and 5K take place on Saturday, and a 10K takes place on Sunday. Event setups include tables for athletes to stage individual nutrition needs.
