Event details

The Rye Summer 10k & 5k Series: Race One is scheduled for 8 May 2026 at The Point, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, Rye, East Sussex, TN31 7TU. It is the first race in a five-race series held in May, June, July, August and September (full series dates include 08 May, 05 June, 10 July, 07 August and 04 September 2026). The course is on tarmac and described as flat. The route runs through a coastal reserve with shingle ridges, saltmarsh, intertidal grazing, reed-beds and saline lagoons; windy conditions are possible and the course can allow quick times when conditions are favourable. Detailed route maps and GPX files are available for download. Event information will be sent to registered entrants prior to race day.

Entry options include single-race entries and series entries. On-the-day single-race fees (subject to availability) are listed as 10k: £25, 5k: £20, Junior Run: £7. Series prices are given by category: 10k option affiliated £84 / unaffiliated £92 (OTD £95); 5k option affiliated £60 / unaffiliated £68 (OTD £70); Junior series £30. The 5k is open to entrants aged 11 and over on 08/05/2026; the 10k is open to entrants aged 15 and over on 08/05/2026. Series entries include a race t-shirt.
