Event overview
Rye Summer 10k & 5k Series: Race One is the first of five races held at The Point, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve in Rye, East Sussex. The reserve includes interlocking shingle ridges, saltmarsh, intertidal grazing, reed-beds and saline lagoons. The course surface is tarmac and described as flat; organisers note it can be windy and that quick times are possible in favourable conditions. The event includes bespoke medals for the 10k and 5k, a finisher medal for the Junior run, and trophies.

Series, entry and fees
This race is part of a five-race series held in May, June, July, August and September. Series entry options include a t-shirt and cover multiple race dates. Series prices listed for 2026 include an affiliated and unaffiliated band for 10k, 5k and Junior options; on-the-day single race entry fees (subject to availability) are: 10k £25, 5k £20, Junior Run £7. The 5k entry is open to entrants aged 11 and over on the race date, and the 10k is open to entrants aged 15 and over on the race date.
