Rye 10 & 5 Mile
Rye 10 & 5 Mile is a road running event organised by Nice Work in conjunction with the Peasmarsh Memorial Hall Committee to raise funds for the village hall. The event is based at Jempsons Supermarket, Main Street, Peasmarsh, Nr Rye, East Sussex TN31 6YD.
The course follows quiet country lanes around the village of Peasmarsh just outside Rye and is described as hilly. Detailed route maps, including GPX files, are available for download.

The event is included in the Sussex Grand Prix 2026. Entrants receive a bespoke medal and free photographs; trophies and prizes are provided for leading runners. Free parking is available on site. Online entry prices listed in the event information are £28 for the 10 Mile and £24 for the 5 Mile. On-the-day entry, where available, is shown as £35 for the 10 Mile and £30 for the 5 Mile.
By car the start and finish are at Jempsons Supermarket and there is on site parking. The nearest train station is Rye (Sussex); there is no bus service to Peasmarsh on Sundays and a taxi or bicycle is required from the station. Taxi availability outside the station can be limited.
