Ryan's Run Superhero 5K and Villain 10K
This event takes place in Pawling, New York, at Lakeside Park. Organized by the Eastern Dutchess Road Runners Club, the race serves as a fundraiser with proceeds benefiting the Ryan McElroy Foundation. Participants can choose between three distinct distances:
- 3.1 Miles (Superhero 5K)
- 6.2 Miles (Villain 10K)
- Kids Fun Run
The running course consists of a 5K loop that passes through the Town and Village of Pawling. The 3.1 mile race completes a single loop, while the 6.2 mile race completes two loops. The event features a comic-book theme where participants have the option to dress in costume.
The Kids Fun Run is a free event specifically for children aged 10 and under. This course is designed as a short out and back path located entirely within the park, and all participants in this category receive small awards.
Finisher medals are provided for those in the 5K and 10K categories who register by the specified deadline. Awards are presented to the top overall male, female, and non-binary finishers.
