Ryan's Run Superhero 5K and Villain 10K
This event, organized by the Eastern Dutchess Road Runners Club, features a themed Superhero 5K and a Villain 10K, plus a free Kids Fun Run for children aged 10 and under. The event uses a new location and a new course at Lakeside Park in Pawling, NY.
Distances
- 3.1 miles Superhero 5K, one loop through the Town and Village of Pawling.
- 6.2 miles Villain 10K, two loops of the 5K course.
- Kids Fun Run, short out and back in the park; free for ages 10 and under.
Registration opens April 29, 2026. Registration fees listed for the main races are $25 for the Superhero 5K and $30 for the Villain 10K; the Kids Fun Run is free. Specific registration close dates differ by event in mid-October 2026.
Awards include finisher medals for the 5K and 10K with a registration deadline of October 13, 2026 to receive a medal. Overall male, female, and non-binary winners are recognized, plus first place in each age group. Age groups run from under 10 up to 70 and older. Small awards are planned for all Kids Fun Run participants.
