About the race
The Rockville Centre Breast Cancer Coalition RVCBCC 5K Run/Walk is a community running and walking event held on the Long Beach boardwalk at Mount Sinai South Nassau Center on the Boardwalk, 106 Boardwalk, between Riverside Boulevard and Long Beach Road in Long Beach, NY. The event takes place in October; registration is currently not open and will be made available by the organizers ahead of the event.

Amenities include event T-shirts (sizes not guaranteed; free T-shirt for registrations completed by October 1), live online, text, and email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for entries registered at least three weeks before the event. Kids who complete the Kids 1K receive a finisher medal.
Bib pickup is handled on site beginning one hour before the event; a bib number is required for pickup and can be obtained via self lookup tools. Last-minute registrants who register within 24 hours of the event will receive their bib number by text, typically within about 90 seconds.

The Rockville Centre Breast Cancer Coalition is a nonprofit outreach program serving Southern Nassau residents living with a breast cancer diagnosis; it provides support services and financial assistance to people managing treatment and its effects.
