About the race
The Roscoe Village Business Association presents a community 5K run and walk around Roscoe Village and the surrounding streets in Coshocton, Ohio. The event welcomes participants who wish to bring dogs and directs a portion of proceeds to the Coshocton County Animal Shelter & Humane Treatment Association. The entry fee is $25.00 and registration opens August 4 and closes September 17.
Registration by August 31 guarantees a race T-shirt. Date deadlines and pricing are firm and no refunds will be given. Awards recognize overall top male and female finishers and the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Age groups are: 19 under; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; 70 and over. Dogs are allowed when accompanied by a registered participant and must meet event rules.
Dogs must be friendly, non-aggressive, properly socialized, healthy, and current on rabies vaccinations. Dogs must remain on a fixed, non-retractable leash no longer than six feet. Owners are responsible for their dog’s behavior, hydration, waste cleanup, and any injury or damage caused by their dog.
Participants with dogs should start at the back, give space to others, and move to the side when being passed. Event staff may remove dogs or handlers that create a safety concern. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
