Runway 5K - Run for the Angels
The Runway 5K - Run for the Angels is a benefit run and walk supporting Angel Flight West. The event includes an in-person 5K held at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport in Broomfield, Colorado, and a virtual 5K that can be completed anywhere between September 26, 2026 and October 4, 2026.
In-person participants run or walk a 5K at the airport location, 11001 Control Tower Road, Broomfield CO 80021. In-person entries include a race t-shirt and a commemorative flight pin. Virtual entries complete a 5K on their own course and receive a commemorative flight pin by mail; virtual registrants do not receive a t-shirt.
Registration fees are listed by category: adults pay $40 for the in-person option and $25 for the virtual option; children under 13 pay $10 for either option; a kids fun run is listed as free; seniors aged 60 and over are charged $25 for either option. Registrations submitted by September 4 are guaranteed a race shirt in the chosen size; registrations after that date will still receive a flight pin but shirts may not be guaranteed due to production timelines.
