5k Run/Walk for Justice : Honouring Flight PS752 Victims
The event is a 5k run/walk held on October 11, 2025, to honour the victims of Flight PS752 and to support the Association of Families of Flight PS752 Victims. Proceeds will fund the association’s initiatives, and donations in Canada may receive charitable tax receipts through a partnership with PAND Settlement Services. The event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario.
Format and logistics
In-person locations include Toronto (Wilket Creek Park / Sunnybrook Park, 1132 Leslie St) and Vancouver (Sunset Beach, English Bay). The Toronto course starts on the main park road, heads south under Eglinton Ave, continues through E.T. Seton Park, passes under Overlea Blvd to a turnaround at the 2.5 km mark, and returns to the finish. Toronto entries use chip timing provided by Chip Time Results. In-person participants receive a commemorative finisher medal.
A virtual option is available. Medals can be shipped to valid addresses in Canada and the U.S.; participants who do not provide a shipping address can choose an electronic finisher certificate. Virtual participants must submit results as instructed by the organiser; medals are mailed within 60 days. Registration is online and entries are non-refundable and non-deferrable. On race day there will be a collection of non-perishable food items for a local food bank.
