RUN Battersea Park 10K
RUN Battersea Park 10K is a looped race held in Battersea Park, next to the bandstand (postcode SW11 4NG). The course uses pancake flat, well-paved paths and passes trees, gardens and views of the River Thames, offering a park setting inside the city.
All finishers receive a medal. Post-race provisions at the finish include water, juices, fruit and a chocolate bar. Electronic chip timing is used and results are posted as soon as a runner crosses the finish line.
Event services include a free baggage drop area that will be cordoned off, with a note that valuables should not be stored there. Public toilets are available near the start and finish area. An official race photographer will be present around the course. A medical team will be located at the start area and at points around the course. A group warm up of about ten minutes is planned shortly before the race start.
