London - Clapham Pretty Muddy 5k

This event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle run at Clapham Common. It is organised by Cancer Research UK with a minimum fundraising target of £50. Earlybird entry prices listed are £11.24 for adults and £6.00 for children.

The course starts and finishes on gravel and follows a mixture of grass and tarmac paths. The route includes mud obstacles that require participants to climb, crawl and slide. Start times are staggered in waves every 15 minutes. Participants must be 13 years of age or older to take part; separate Pretty Muddy Kids events are available for younger children.

The meeting point is on the gravel football pitches just off The Avenue behind Mount Pond. General event parking is not available and public transport is recommended. The nearest train station is Clapham South, approximately 0.5 miles away; buses serve stops on Broomwood Road and around the common. Bike racks are provided near the common and at Clapham South station.

On-site facilities include refreshments, toilets and a bag drop. Dogs are not allowed and the event is not wheelchair accessible. The start and finish areas are flat but can be uneven and firm underfoot. Registered participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support and a race medal on completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
