Richmond Half Marathon Autumn
The event offers three running distances in and around Richmond:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The race village is based at Old Deer Park, Richmond upon Thames (TW9 2SF). Much of the half marathon route runs alongside the River Thames and is described by the organiser as a scenic course. The venue is accessible by car and public transport, with Old Deer Park car park located opposite the race area.
Timing uses chip technology and official results are posted immediately after crossing the finish. All finishers receive a medal and post-race refreshments including water, juices, fruit and a chocolate bar. A free, cordoned baggage drop is provided; runners are advised not to store valuables.
Specific event rules include a restriction on headphone use except for bone conducting headphones as stated under UKA Rule 240 S 5. Facilities at the venue include toilets at the start and finish area, an official race photographer on the course, and a medical team near the event base. A pre-race warm-up of about ten minutes is scheduled before the run.
