Event overview
The Richmond Half Marathon Autumn is held at Old Deer Park, Richmond upon Thames (TW9 2SF), adjacent to the A316. The course runs largely along the River Thames. The event’s official charity partner is Kingston Hospital Charity, supported in celebration of 70 years of the NHS. The race start and finish are at Old Deer Park. The event is accessible by car and public transport, and there is an Old Deer Park car park opposite the start area.
Race services and rules
All finishers receive a medal. Finishers are also offered refreshments at the finish, including water, juices, fruit and a chocolate bar. Chip timing technology is used and results are posted immediately at the finish. A free, cordoned baggage drop is provided, but runners are advised not to store valuables. Headphones are not permitted unless they are bone-conduction type, under UKA Rule 240 S 5. Toilets are provided at the start and finish areas. A medical team is located at the start area and an official race photographer will be on course. A 10-minute pre-race warm up is organised before the start.
