RunThrough Anacostia Park 5K & 10K, Washington DC, 13 September 2026
This event stages two measured road races in Anacostia National Park along the Anacostia River, at 1900 Anacostia Dr, Washington, DC 20020, USA. Runners follow a smooth, uninterrupted out-and-back route on Anacostia Drive, which will be fully closed for the race. The course is described as exceptionally flat with wide, open stretches.
Each kilometre is clearly marked with distance flags and marshals are positioned to guide and encourage participants. The event provides chip-timed results, free race photos, a unique themed medal and post-race goodies. An event village offers food and drink options and free items from partners.
An event t-shirt is available at a discounted price when purchased as part of the entry. Organizers have emphasised sustainability as a priority for their events. Early Bird entry ends 12 July 2026.
