About the race
Chasewater Trail takes place at Chasewater Country Park on Sunday 18 April 2027, centred on the Chasewater Innovation Centre, Pool Road, Burntwood, Brownhills WS8 7NL. The event includes multiple distances on mixed off-road terrain around the park.

The course uses lakeside paths, woodland trails and open parkland with a mix of grass and path surfaces. There are no road closures on the route. The half marathon comprises four laps plus an out-and-back with 64 m elevation gain and a four-hour cut-off; the 10K is two laps with 36 m elevation gain and a two-hour cut-off; the 5K is one lap with 16 m elevation gain and a two-hour cut-off; the junior mini loop has 3 m elevation and a one-hour cut-off. Minimum ages are specified for each distance.
Entries include a themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, post-race goodies and a bag drop within the event village. Water is provided every 5 km on the half marathon and 10K; the 5K does not pass a water station. The venue is not suitable for wheelchairs or prams due to terrain. Parking is available at the Chasewater Innovation Centre with pay options for short or all-day stays. The closest bus stop is an 18-minute walk from the Innovation Centre.
