ROOFTOP RUN | Music-Powered Intervals on Rooftop Track
The organiser RUN OF A KIND presents a coached interval running session on a rooftop running track at The Mercian in Birmingham. The session takes place on a 200m rooftop track and uses music to structure interval work.
The format includes a group warm-up, running drills, and music-powered intervals led by England Athletics qualified RUN OF A KIND Run Coaches. Intervals are run by timed effort levels rather than strict pace targets, so participants may walk, jog, or sprint according to their own effort. The session notes that all abilities are welcome, including complete beginners, social runners, and experienced runners.
The event is in-person and includes check-in, bag drop, and toilet facilities. Photography and filming will take place during the session, and information about filming and consent will be provided before the event. Post-run refreshments and a relaxed rooftop social are mentioned as part of the after-session plan. The organiser also references the opportunity to record efforts on Strava for the 200m rooftop segment.
Location details given are The Mercian, Broad Street, Birmingham B15 1AZ. The event notes paid parking and a policy for refunds up to seven days before the session. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
