Runtastic HEBER, Heber City, Utah
Runtastic HEBER is a race event held on August 7, 2027, at Old Mill Elementary School in Heber City, Utah. The event offers multiple distances:
- Half Marathon all-downhill course into Heber Valley
- 5K
- All-Abilities 1/2 Mile
The half marathon is a USATF-certified, all-downhill course with an elevation drop of 3,381 feet into the Wasatch Mountains and Heber Valley. A portion of each registration is donated to a local autism charity.
Logistics include a race expo with packet pickup before race day and a bag drop at the half marathon start with pick-up at the finish. Parking is available at Timpanogos Middle School with overflow at Old Mill Elementary. Half marathon participants are required to board event buses to reach the start; missing the bus results in forfeiture of the entry.
Aid stations along the course provide Re-Lyte, water, GU, porta-potties, and a first aid kit. Race timing uses chips attached to bibs and is managed by Laurel Timing; overall and age group awards are presented for top finishers, and winners in some races receive award certificates with a free entry for the following year.
Event amenities include free race photos, live tracking through the event app, post-race food and drinks, and a finisher medal for finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
