Runtastic HEBER, Heber City, Utah
Runtastic HEBER is a community running event on August 8, 2026 at Old Mill Elementary School in Heber City, Utah. The event features an all downhill USATF-certified half marathon with an elevation drop of 3,381 feet and additional shorter races through Heber Valley and the Wasatch Mountains.
The event includes these distances:
- Half Marathon
- 5K
- All-Abilities 1/2 Mile
Race logistics include a race expo and packet pickup the day before the event, plus an earlier packet pickup in American Fork. Day-of packet pickup is available for a fee. Half marathon runners are transported to the start by buses from Timpanogos Middle School and must show their bib to board; parking at the half marathon start is not allowed.
Aid stations are placed along the courses and provide Re-Lyte, water, GU, porta-potties, and a first aid kit. Timing is provided by Laurel with chips attached to bibs. Free race photos are offered, and Run Your Race pacers will be available for several finishing-time groups.
Awards include medals for the top three overall male and female finishers and age group medals for the half marathon and 5K. Half and 5K overall winners receive a certificate and a free entry for the same race next year. A portion of registration proceeds supports a local nonprofit that serves individuals with autism.
