Event overview
The Bigfoot Snowshoe Festival is scheduled for January 31, 2026, at Wasatch Mountain State Park in Midway, Utah (1281 Warm Springs Road). The festival comprises six distances and had over 100 finishers across the events in the 2025 edition. The 2025 World Snowshoe Championships and US Snowshoe Championships were noted as postponed to December 2025.

Course, equipment, and services
The 15K course is described as one 10K golf-course loop plus one 5K single-track mountain loop. Participants may use any snowshoe or traction system. To be eligible for overall awards in each event, competitors must wear snowshoes for the entire distance. Snowshoe rentals are available at the race visitors center, BYU Outdoor Rental, and REI; the visitors center rental was listed at $3 for race participants.
