The Smoke Rise Trail Run is a trail event in Huntsville, Alabama at Blevins Gap Land Trust on Green Mountain. It offers multiple marked distances on trail terrain.

Course maps and elevation profiles are provided for each distance. The event has a hard cap of 250 runners. All entrants receive a t-shirt and a finisher medal. There will be a post-race grill for participants.
This is a cupless race; participants must carry a handheld bottle, pack, or reusable cup. Aid stations will offer bottled water and individually wrapped snacks. A reusable RunningLane cup is available for purchase at registration for five dollars.
To be guaranteed a Smoke Rise t-shirt registrants must be signed up before April 29. If some sizes run out, affected participants may receive an alternate RunningLane t-shirt. Age groups for the 10K and Half Marathon are 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Cutoffs are two hours thirty minutes for the 10K and three hours forty minutes for the Half Marathon, with corresponding pace guidelines noted by the organizer.
There are no refunds, deferrals, credits, or transfers, and shirts or medals are not mailed to nonattendees. Registration closes May 7 at 11:59 PM CT. Average race day temperatures are listed as low 59F and high 81F. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
