Big Foot Trail Run - June 20, 2026

Big Foot Trail Run is the opening race of the Wild Thangs Trail Series held in Huntsville, AL at 5105 Nolen Ave SE. The event offers trail distances of:

The race is capped at 400 participants. The organizer enforces a cupless policy; runners must carry a hand bottle, pack, or reusable cup. A RunningLane reusable cup is available for purchase for $5 at checkout. Several aid stations are placed on course supplying water, Gatorade, coke, GU, pretzels, M&M's, granola bars and similar items.

The Wild Thangs Trail Series comprises four races across June to August, with short and long series bundle discounts, a series t-shirt, finisher awards and a series plaque for bundled entrants. Marco's Pizza is listed as a sponsor and will provide pizza at the finish line for participants. Course features include bluff views, mountain scenery, creek crossings and waterfalls. Course maps and elevation profiles are provided for the 5K and 10K.

Packet pickup for Big Foot is available Friday, June 19 from 12:00 to 17:00 at the RunningLane store (2407 Memorial Pkwy SW, Huntsville, AL 35801) and the morning of the race from 06:00 to 06:45.
