Running with Yeti 5K and Yeti Double Dare
The event is scheduled for Saturday, December 19, 2026, at Al Lopez Park, 4810 N Himes Ave, Tampa, FL 33614. The event includes multiple short-distance races and a kids dash at the park. The course uses asphalt surfaces.

The format includes two separate 5K waves and a Yeti Double Dare option for participants who run both 5K waves. Double Dare participants use the same bib for both runs and receive the 5K finisher medal plus a DOUBLE Dare medal. A kids dash is offered for ages 1 to 8 over 150 yards.
Base entry fees listed are: running waves $30, Yeti Double Dare $55, and the kids dash $9. Registration opens July 17, 2026 at 12:00 noon. Shirt sizes are offered in gender-specific fits and a guaranteed size is available with early registration; size guarantees are not offered after November 1, 2026.
Awards include chip-time overall results for men and women, masters and grand masters categories, and age group awards for men and women in five-year age increments through age 85 and older. Additional features described for the event include post-race food and beverages such as pancakes, sausages, hot dogs, hot chocolate, treats from NOTHING BUNDT CAKES, a costume contest, on-site photographers with free downloadable photos, finish line video in the results area, and overflow parking.
