About the race
Running Tribe Races take place on looped courses around Chalfont St Peter in Buckinghamshire. Courses 1, 2 and 3 start and finish at Chalfont Park Sports Club, while courses 4, 5 and 6 use Chalfont St Peter Community Centre in Gerrards Cross.
Runners choose their distance on the day. The options include 7 km, 10 km, 14 km, Half Marathon, Full Marathon and Ultra Marathon. The race uses either a 7 km or 10 km loop, and participants can stop after one or more loops and be counted in the relevant race distance.
Courses 1, 2 and 3 offer 10 km, Half Marathon, Full Marathon and a 40 mile Ultra Marathon. The route here is a 10.8 km loop, using about 80% trail and 20% road, with public footpaths and woods. Six laps of this loop total about 2100 ft of climb.
Courses 4, 5 and 6 offer 7 km, 14 km, Half Marathon, Full Marathon and a 30 mile Ultra Marathon. One aid station at the start and finish line provides water, soft drinks and vegan and vegetarian food.
The course is marked, with road crossings clearly indicated. Pacers are allowed at any stage, and crew members can support at any point on the course. Medals are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the 7 km, 10 km, 14 km, Half Marathon and Ultra Marathon. The event is open to anyone who can run or walk 7 km.
