Running Scared 5K/13K - Seattle
The event takes place on October 18, 2026 in Seattle, WA at 5000 Aurora Ave N. It includes multiple in-person and virtual race options with shirts and finisher medals for participants.

- 13K in-person and virtual
- 18K Deadly Double in-person and virtual
In-person options include standard and "No Swag" entries for the 5K and 13K. The Deadly Double combines the 5K and the 13K into an 18K total; in the in-person Deadly Double participants run the 5K, return within 30 minutes, and then run the 13K. Virtual entries allow participants to run where and when they choose, submit a time, and receive mailed race swag.
All athletes receive a long-sleeve race shirt and a custom finisher medal. Competitive awards are given for the Top Three Male and Female Overall finishers in both the 5K and 13K, and for Top Three in Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Masters overall categories. Age-group awards are given to the top three in each traditional five-year age group for both race distances. The Deadly Double includes special recognition for the Top Three Male and Female finishers who complete both races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
