Running Scared 5K and 13K : Dawsonville
The event takes place on October 17, 2026, at Rock Creek Park, 445 Martin Rd., Dawsonville, GA 30534, USA. It offers in-person and virtual race options with race apparel and finisher recognition.
Race options include:
- 5K in-person and virtual.
- 13K in-person and virtual.
- 18K Deadly Double (complete the 5K then the 13K for 18K total).
In-person participants receive a long-sleeve race shirt and a custom finisher medal. Those who complete the Deadly Double earn a separate Deadly Double finisher medal in addition to the Running Scared shirt. Virtual participants may run where and when they choose, submit their time, and have race swag mailed to them.
The event includes awards for multiple competitive categories. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers in the 5K and 13K, the top three in Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Masters overall categories, and the top three in each traditional five-year age group for both distances. The Deadly Double also has recognition for the top three male and female finishers who complete both races.
