5 mile Leprechaun Chase & 1-mile Leprechaun Leap : Nappanee, IN
The event in Nappanee, Indiana, features two timed running events held on March 21, 2026. Distances offered:
- 5-mile run
- 1-mile run/walk
The course is described as flat and fast, passing through parks and residential neighborhoods of Nappanee. The event will be chip timed. Participants are encouraged to wear green or an Irish costume.
Shirts are available to order during registration and will not be sold on race day. Awards for in-person participants include top three male and female finishers in the 5-mile event and age group awards for the 5-mile in the categories 39 and under and 40 and over. Youth awards for the 1-mile event will be given in age groups for 4 and under, 5 to 6, 7 to 8, 9 to 10, 11 to 12, and 13 to 14. Awards are for in-person running only.
Packet pick up is planned at Fleet Feet Mishawaka on March 20, 2026 from 10:00 to 18:30 and at Nappanee Public Library on March 21, 2026 from 7:30 to 8:45.
