Event overview
The 6th Annual Leprechaun Chase and Leprechaun Leap takes place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, in Nappanee, Indiana (157 N Main St., 46550). The event includes a 5-mile run and a 1-mile run/walk and is presented as a St. Patrick's Day-themed race; participants are encouraged to wear green or an Irish costume. The course runs through parks and neighborhoods of Nappanee and the event will be chip-timed. No refunds will be given.

Entry fees listed are $25 for the 5-mile and $10 for the 1-mile, with prices increasing after January 8, 2026. Shirts can be ordered during registration through the race store; no extra shirts will be available for purchase on race day. Awards for the 5-mile include top three male and female finishers and age-group awards in the categories 39 & Under and 40+. The 1-mile has youth awards in age groups: 4 & Under, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14. Awards are for in-person participants only.
Packet pick-up is scheduled at Fleet Feet Mishawaka on Friday, March 20, 2026, and at Nappanee Public Library on Saturday, March 21, 2026; an additional Nappanee Public Library pick-up time is listed as TBD. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
