Event details
Race for Wishes is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Elkhart, Indiana. The event is organized in partnership with Make-A-Wish and takes place at Concord Junior High School, with the course starting and finishing at the school. Race registrations received before March 7 are guaranteed a T-shirt. Food trucks will be available for participants and guests.

The event program includes running and a strength challenge:
- 5K Run
- 1 mile Fun Run/Walk
There is a Power Rowing Challenge offered before, during and after the race. Awards for runners will be given by age group: 11 and under; 12-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; and 60 and over. Strength competition awards are listed for 11 and under, teen divisions (12-14, 15/16, 17/18), and adult division including overall winner and top two male and female.
