Running GP Bedford Autodrome
The Running GP at Bedford Autodrome takes place on a world-class motor racing circuit. The venue features smooth tarmac and wide turns on a course that is entirely traffic-free. The route consists of roads and paths within the autodrome, avoiding any grass sections. Participants start and finish within the venue, which was designed by a former Formula 1 driver.
The event offers several race distances:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- 16 Mile
- 20 Mile
- Marathon
The course is organized into laps, with the 5k consisting of one lap and the Marathon requiring eight laps plus a smaller mini loop. Every mile and kilometre is marked with distance flags. The event utilizes chip timing to provide precise results for all participants.
Participants receive a unique themed medal and access to free race photos after the event. An event village is located on-site, providing various food and drink options. Marshals are positioned along the course to provide guidance and assistance. The venue at W Circuit Pit Lane offers generous space for runners throughout the different distances.
