Running for the HEART 5K | 10K : New Orleans
Running for the HEART is a November 2026 event organized by Heart N Hands with on-site and virtual participation options. The on-site activities are based at Bayou St. John on Wisner near PanAm Stadium in New Orleans and include run, walk, and bike formats.

On-site race-day activities include sign-in and on-site registration, a welcome and morning stretch, separate starts for runners and for walkers and bikers, and a cool down with a post-event celebration.
Registrations include a signature race t-shirt, an official race bib, and a finisher medallion. A virtual participation option is offered; virtual registrants receive a mailed packet containing the shirt, medal, and commemorative bib, with free shipping inside the United States, and submitting results is optional. Group registration is available with a discounted group rate for teams of five or more. A kids fun run is offered free for participants aged 10 to 18.
