Running For A Cure: Georgia Mae's Peachy 5K
Running For A Cure: Georgia Mae's Peachy 5K is a community road event held at the Leitchfield Sports Complex in Leitchfield, Kentucky on October 17, 2026. The event offers a single race distance of 3.1 Miles and invites participants to walk or run in honor of children affected by pediatric cancer, in memory of those who have died, and in support of those currently undergoing treatment for Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to benefit AML blood cancer research. Registration is set at $25 per person. Entries submitted before October 2, 2026 receive a race day t-shirt, subject to printing deadlines. Packet pickup will take place on race morning.
Results and awards recognize overall finishers and age groups. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, and to the top three finishers in these age groups: Youth 14 and under; 15–18; and adult divisions 19–29, 30–45, 46–59, and 60 and over.
