Running For A Cure: Georgia Mae's Peachy 5K
The Georgia Mae's Peachy 5K is a community run and walk held on October 17, 2026 at the Leitchfield Sports Complex in Leitchfield, Kentucky. The event invites participants of all ages to walk or run in honor of children affected by pediatric cancer, in memory of those lost, and in support of those still undergoing treatment. The course distance is 3.1 Miles.
All proceeds from the event are designated for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to support research into Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Registration opens on April 20, 2026 and closes on October 17, 2026. Participants who register before October 2, 2026 are eligible to receive a special race day t-shirt; due to printing deadlines shirts cannot be guaranteed after that date.
Packet pickup is available on race morning. The event includes awards for overall and age-group finishers: the top three overall male finishers and the top three overall female finishers, followed by the top three finishers in youth divisions (14 and under, 15 to 18) and adult divisions (19 to 29, 30 to 45, 46 to 59, 60 and over). The format accommodates both competitive finishers and participants who choose to walk. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
