Light the Night 5K: Superhero Walk/Run Grayson County Edition
The event is race three of the Light the Night 5K: Superhero Walk/Run Series. It takes place on Friday, August 21, 2026, at James D. Beville City Park in Leitchfield, Kentucky.
It is hosted by CASA of the Heartland, an organization that recruits and trains volunteers to advocate for children under court protection. The goal is to raise awareness for vulnerable children and pay tribute to local heroes who protect and serve. Funds from the event series aim to support providing a CASA volunteer for every child victim in Hardin, Breckinridge, Grayson, LaRue, Hart, and Meade counties.
