The event is a community fundraising evening that includes a competitive 5K race and a family fun walk. Proceeds support the Owensboro Health Foundation for projects aimed at increasing physical activity in Grayson County. The event is presented by Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center Community Health and sponsored by Leitchfield Tourism and The Grayson County Healthcare Foundation.

Registration opens January 16, 2026. The 5K entry fee is $25 through June 1, 2026 and increases to $35 on race morning. The family fun walk is free. Children 18 and under participate for free.
Awards are given by sex (male and female) with first and second place in each listed category. Categories include Top Overall and age groups: 9 and under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over.
