The Runner Stumbles
The Runner Stumbles returns for its 42nd edition at Suncadia Resort's Nelson Farm on July 5, 2026, in Cle Elum, WA. The event includes community races held on paved pathways and single-track trails through a forested setting. There will be free kids races.
Distances:
- 5K run/walk on paved pathways and single-track trails
- 10K run on paved pathways and single-track trails
Registration fees follow a tiered schedule. Early bird (March 16 - May 17) is $25 for adults and $20 for youth 18 and under. Regular (May 18 - July 3) is $30 for adults and $20 for youth. Weekend-of (July 4 - July 5) is $35 for adults and $20 for youth. Race T-shirts are included in the price; T-shirts are only guaranteed for registrations completed by June 28.
Courses will be marked and staffed with volunteers. An awards ceremony will take place immediately following the race at Nelson Farm.
A Sponsor Passport Raffle is part of the event. Blank passports are available at the Suncadia Lifestyle Gallery at 770 Suncadia Trail between May 8 and July 3. Participants may collect sponsor stamps between May 8 and July 5 and bring completed passports to the race at Nelson Farm on July 5. Fully stamped passports earn five raffle tickets; passports with at least eight stamps earn three tickets; passports with fewer than eight stamps earn one ticket.
