Event overview
Run For Your Lives is a community road and trail running event held on Saturday, October 31, 2026. The event offers the following distances:

- 10k
The event is open to runners and walkers of any age. Registration fees are: adult $30 ( $35 on race day) and student $20 ( $25 on race day). The registration fee includes a race tee and finisher medal. Registrations received after Friday at noon are not guaranteed a shirt. Awards are given for top male and female overall, Masters (40-59), Grand Masters (60+), and the top three in age-group decades.
Course and logistics
The start and finish are at James and Court. The 5k uses roads and a paved path. The 10k includes a portion off road and loops through the trails of Cartier Park; both courses mix on-road and off-road sections and pass through fall colors. Dogs and strollers are permitted. Early packet pickup is Friday, October 30 at Lotus from 4-6 pm. Race-day packet pickup is Saturday, October 31 at Hoyt’s Next Door from 7:30-8:30 am. Course wayfinding uses color-coded arrows, volunteers, cones, and tape, and the courses are available for turn-by-turn navigation in the RunGo app. Awards are distributed after the race at Hoyt’s Next Door.
