Run For Your Lives 5k/10k
Run For Your Lives is staged on Saturday, October 31, 2026, with the start and finish at James and Court in Ludington. The event offers two distance options and is open to runners and walkers of any age.
- 5k on road and paved path.
- 10k includes trail loops and an off-road section through Cartier Park.
Registration fees are listed by category: adult and student tiers with higher fees on race day. The registration fee includes a race tee and a finisher medal. Registrations submitted after Friday at noon are not guaranteed a shirt.
Packet pickup is offered the day before at Lotus and on race morning at Hoyt’s Next Door. The course is marked using color coded arrows, volunteers, cones, and tape. Dogs and strollers are permitted, and participants can follow turn-by-turn voice navigation via the RunGo app.
Awards are presented after the race at Hoyt’s Next Door. Prizes are given to the top male and female overall, top male and female in Masters (40-59) and Grand Masters (60+), and top three finishers in decade age groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
