Run For Your Lives 5k/10k
The Run For Your Lives race takes place in Ludington on Saturday, October 31, 2026. The event offers two distances and a course that mixes road, paved path, and trail sections that run through Cartier Park and nearby roads. Dogs and strollers are welcome; a portion of the 10k is off road.

Registration includes a race tee and a finisher medal. Fees are listed as Adult $30 with a $35 race day price, and Student $20 with a $25 race day price. Registrations submitted after the Friday before the race at noon are not guaranteed a shirt. Early packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, October 30 at Lotus from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Race day packet pickup is at Hoyt’s Next Door.
The course uses color coded arrows, volunteers, cones, and tape for navigation. Participants may use turn-by-turn voice guidance via the RunGo app by opening the course link in the app. The start and finish location is at James and Court. Awards are presented for top male and female Overall, Masters (40-59), Grand Masters (60+), and the top three in age groups by decade; awards are distributed after the race at Hoyt’s Next Door.
