Run For Your Lives is a community race in Ludington with a start and finish at James and Court. The event offers the following distances:

Registration fees are listed for adults and students, with higher rates on race day. The registration fee includes a race tee and a finisher medal. Registrations after Friday at noon are not guaranteed a shirt. The event is open to runners and walkers of any age and ability.
Course, packet pickup, and awards
The 5k runs on roads and a paved path. The 10k includes on-road sections and a loop through the trails of Cartier Park; a portion of the 10k is off road. Dogs and strollers are permitted. The course is waymarked with color-coded arrows, volunteers, cones, and tape; turn-by-turn voice navigation is available via the RunGo app.
Early packet pickup is scheduled for the Friday before the race at LOTUS. Race day packet pickup is at Hoyt’s Next Door. Awards are presented after the race at Hoyt’s Next Door and include top male and female in Overall, Masters (40-59), Grand Masters (60+), and top three in age groups by decade.
