Event overview
The Run White Lake Color Run is the 5th annual Run White Lake 5K, held in Whitehall, MI on August 8, 2026. It is part of the White Lake Area Maritime Festival and includes two event options: a 5K timed chipped race and a 5K fun run/walk that is untimed. Awards are given to top male and female overall and in age divisions: 8 & under, 9–12, 13–16, 17–22, 23–30, 31–40, 41–50, 51–60, 61–70, and 71+.
Logistics and support
The event base is at 124 W. Hanson St., Whitehall. Packet pickup is available the day before at White Lake Nutrition (3311 E Colby St) and on race day at the White Lake Chamber Depot (124 W. Hanson St.). Parking is provided at Lions Park, Goodrich Park, and North Mears Lot; parking is not allowed at Napa or WaterDog Outfitters. Restrooms include porta-johns near the Chamber Depot and public restrooms by Montague Foods. Aid stations are located at the Chamber Depot and on course with support from the White Lake Fire Authority. Recommended viewing spots include the Chamber Depot, Covell Park, Trailway Campground, and behind Montague Foods. Free snacks, water, and hydration drinks will be available after the race.
The race supports Bridge & Bloom Project and helps fund Hope Squad and mental health programs in Muskegon County. Registrations after July 11 may not include a guaranteed race t-shirt or size. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
