Friends Fall 5K and Fun Run
Friends Fall 5K and Fun Run is a timed run/walk held in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, with the main site at United Friends School, 1018 West Broad St. The event offers a chipped race bib for the 5K and awards participant medals upon completion. There is a costume contest and registered participants receive a T-shirt and a Trolley Barn gift card. An option to purchase an additional commemorative T-shirt is offered separately.
The course is described as flat and uses sidewalks, a paved lot, paved paths, and stone paths through school grounds, green space, and recreation fields, with the finish located behind the Trolley Barn. After the finish there are light snacks, refreshments, and family activities at the Trolley Barn prior to the Quakertown parade. Parking near the United Friends School is limited to a school lot off Broad St, a second lot off 10th Ave, on-street parking along 10th Ave, and a larger lot across from the school. Parking near the finish is available behind the Trolley Barn, on Broad St, and in a nearby larger lot between N. Third St and 4th St. The walking distance between the school and the Trolley Barn is about three quarters of a mile in a straight line down Broad St. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
