Event Overview
RunAPalooza is an annual running event held on the Jersey Shore in the spring. Entering its 29th year in 2026, the event features multiple race formats that navigate through several coastal communities in New Jersey. The Asbury Park Half Marathon serves as the 2026 NJ RRCA Half Marathon Championship Race and takes place on a USATF certified course.
Course Routes
The races explore iconic coastal locations and boardwalks. The half marathon starts and finishes in Asbury Park, with a route passing through Interlaken, Allenhurst, Deal, Ocean Grove, Bradley Beach, and Avon-by-the-Sea. The 5K is a flat and fast course that passes notable sites such as Convention Hall, the Stone Pony, Madam Marie, and the Great Auditorium before finishing on the historic Asbury Park Boardwalk. The relay event follows a 26-mile oceanfront course from Seaside Heights to Asbury Park.

- Asbury Park Half Marathon: A 13.1-mile certified course starting and finishing in Asbury Park.
- Jersey Shore Relay Marathon: A 26-mile team event for 1 to 5 members from Seaside Heights to Asbury Park.
- Jersey Shore 5K: A 3.1-mile flat course passing historic landmarks and finishing on the boardwalk.
Organizations and Support
